Talking Family History

Virtual Lounge

Each fortnight we’ll chat about some of the websites and records we have worked on recently (with a focus on UK, Australia and NZ records) and will provide tips to help with your research. Our chat starts on Friday night 8:30pm New Zealand time. You might like to use an online time converter to check your local time. We open the room around 8pm so members can chat informally before the formal virtual lounge gets underway at 8:30pm.

Your Full Year subscription covers 22 Talking Family History Friday nights from 11 February to 2 December 2022 and recordings are available for those you have missed live.

Please visit the shop for all the details. You may prefer to subscribe for half a year (11 sessions during the first half of 2022)

Online Consultations
It doesn’t matter where we are on the family history journey, sometimes we just need some help. Why not book a quick 15min friendly chat with Fiona, to can chat about where you are on your journey and whether she can help guide you in the right direction.

These sessions are aimed at those starting their DNA research. Those attending are expected to have access to results from a DNA test, or be waiting for results from one or more of the main companies, ie: 23andMe, Ancestry, FamilyTreeDNA or MyHeritage.
